Lab rats trapped inside a cage. Electrodes stuck into their brains. How much more pain can they each take before they go tear each other limb from limb? Drop some cheese into the cage. Watch them scurry round the maze. They come face to face. Hunger turns into rage. They bite and they tear until only one stands alone over the corpse of his brother. Every reward seems smaller than the last. But a belly that's half full is better than empty. Strength has prevailed to fight another day. And lo! To the victor go the spoils! And the strong survive! In this world, we compete against each other if we want to get by. Another rat another day. There's got to be a better way. What if they work together against the researcher? Fighting together as one. Hand and cheese enter the cage. Teeth meet fingers. Subject B runs forward onto the shoulder, and sinks his teeth deep into the scientist's neck. The researcher falls backwards, hits his head-unconscious he leaves the rats free in the lab. First free the others then find all the food, then find a way out of this miserable hell. And Lo!Tto the victor go the spoils. And the strong survive. In this world we need to work together if we want to get by. Something given has no value, real reward is earned. There's no telling what we could achieve, if we put our minds together and fought as one.
